The Trust is closely involved with the Institute of Groundsmanship and they often combine to compete in shows around the country.
For the last nine years the Trust has helped design stands at the Chelsea Flower Show during which time the Institute has gained bronze and silver medals.
The Hall & Duck Trust specialises in international exhibitions.
These can be complicated beasts!
Planning normally takes up to a year and includes the design, finding tent contractors, arranging outside lighting and so much more.
Planning the stand theme is also extremely important, not to mention travel arrangements!
Andrew's tasks are to design the whole event and to source the components while Mike, as Curator, has the heavy but crucial burden of logistics and timing.
International Exhibitions
The H&D Trust for many years has been involved with the design and sponsorship of the Vintage Horticultural section at the Gloucestershire Extravaganza one of the largest traction engine rally's in the country. Visit their website: www.glosvintageextravaganza.co.uk
Also the H & D Trust designs and sponsors the Vintage Horticultural section at the ever growing Autumn Show held at the Three Counties Show ground, Malvern on the last weekend in September every year.
